I had a few weeks of making cushions and worked my socks off, got a few more to do to finish off this series. My boyfriends mum has already bought two, but I am in another rut as to where to sell these beauties? I have all this work mounting up and have no clue what to do with it all, running out of space in the house. Firstly I need a web site, then I need people, real people and a willing model-I so need a model. This year I will be praying to God above for a model.
Obviously not a model for the cushions, that would just be weird, but for my fashion stuff, obs. Been thinking about my muse and who would actually wear my stuff-I guess I should have thought of that first huh? I am enjoying working backwards, this is the way my crazy brain works. Making it up as I go. As I am interested / borderline obsessed with the groupie chicks and really cool girls from the 60's and 70's. Reflective of this mini collection.
Next on the list is to make shorts-really short shorts, pastel green cotton, fabric is here now, ready! Then a sexy skirt, simple, cool. I also have this pastel green lace that I am dreaming of. Want to make some little peter pan collars that I can add in, my list is endless. Then the biggie-tackling stretch. Getting there. I have this great Lycra dress block which I have been meaning to do something with, it's not going to look like a Motel rip off, I gotta get it right. That is the perfectionist in me, not sure whether it is a blessing or a curse?
